Cloncurry Recreation Grounds Masterplan

Cloncurry Shire Council was successful in gaining funding under the Queensland Government’s Blueprint for the Bush – Our place Our Future to develop a master plan for the Cloncurry Recreation Grounds. This master plan was identified in the Cloncurry Recreation Plan September 2008.

In May 2009 tenders were released to gain a suitable consultant to work with Council and consult with the community to ensure the Plan is one which is sustainable and will work for Council and the community. The successful consultant was Venue Group Consultants.

The consultant has visited Cloncurry during the Annual Cloncurry & District Show, Stockman’s Challenge & Campdraft and Curry Merry Muster Festival. During these visits he has met with users, spoken with Council and conducted surveys to gain a good understanding about needs of the community.

We encourage you as a user of the Recreation Grounds during major events or local sporting competition to complete the survey below to ensure your thoughts are included in the process.
