Celebrate the stories and lifestyle that make the outback so iconic, with festivities including the street party, curry cooking competition, horse racing and live entertainment.

Friday 13 September

The festivities kick off with the closing down of Scarr Street for the Street Party featuring live entertainment by Australia’s Hottest Country Duo – Adam Eckersley & Brooke McClymont.

The iconic Mine Cart Rally will then  battle it out for the title of mine cart rally champions.

Get a taste of the west with the Curry Cook Off where participants cook off to be crowned the best curry in the Curry.

 

Saturday 14 September

Dust off the fascinator to experience outback racing at the Cloncurry Spring Races, hosted by the Cloncurry & Distract Race Club.*

 

Sunday 15 September

Finish the festival weekend at local markets, food stalls and kids’ entertainment at Mary Kathleen Memorial Park.
