The Cloncurry Waterwise Service is a free service that has been developed by the Queensland Government with the support of the Cloncurry Shire Council to help Cloncurry businesses and households become even more water efficient.

The residential service takes about an hour and is worth over $250. During this service a Licensed plumber will:

• Replace all inefficient showerheads with high-quality water efficient ones.
• Fix all minor leaks anywhere inside and outdoors.
• Install aerators on inside taps, which will help to stop water waste.
• Make toilets more efficient by providing cistern weights and fixing minor leaks.
• Conduct a water audit of the home and supply helpful tips for saving even more water.

All of which could save each home up to 40,00 litres of water per year.
