Cloncurry Shire Council wish to advise that construction activities will commence on the Eastern Stormwater Mitigation Project – Stage 1 on Tuesday 2 May 2017 with works expected to finish in August 2017.

Works will occur on the eastern side of the railway line and north of Palmer Street, to improve stormwater mitigation.

Residents are advised that during this period the contractor will be working seven days per week from 6.00am to 6.00pm.

Local contractor K & R Contracting will be carrying out the works for the project.

During this time residents in Uhr Street, Seymour Street, Palmer Street, Steele Street, Absolon Street, Martel Crescent, Railway Street, Brisbane Street and Griffith Street will experience noise and dust from machinery.

Council apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time.

Should you have any queries in respect of this matter, please contact K & R Contracting on 4742 0376 or Council on 07 4742 4100.
