CLONCURRY RUGBY UNION
Rugby Union; the game they play in heaven. The competition consists of four teams – three from Mt Isa and one from Cloncurry. In each month of the season our Cloncurry team plays three away games and one home game. For each home game we run an event alongside the game, like ladies’ day. For this game the ladies are provided with an exclusive area and are served wine and food platters all day while they watch the gentlemen play rugby union. There is also a kids’ day where the PCYC provide jumping castles and face painting and other kids activity’s over the day. For the last home game the sponsors of the Cloncurry Rugby Union have an exclusive area where they are catered for over the evening as a thank you for there support in sponsoring the club.
The season runs from the second week in September through to March. Specific dates TBA.
Home games are held at Cloncurry Recreation Grounds and Mt Isa games are at Mt Isa Rugby Park
