Our Decisions
Council functions and powers are dependent on State Government legislation. The Local Government Act 1993 and other legislative provisions clearly define the powers and responsibilities of council.
Council Meetings and Minutes
Council meetings are open to the public. Ordinary Council Meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month commencing at 8:00am.
Council Consultation
Community consultation is the key mechanism for the identification of local values and local needs.
Planning Scheme
A Planning Scheme is a legal instrument that sets out the provisions for land use, development and protection. The function of a Planning Scheme is to facilitate fair, orderly, economic and sustainable use of land, by providing for the individual needs of an area.

General Complaints Process Policy
It is a mandatory requirement for Council to establish a general complaints process under section 501D of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act).
Our Lists
