Youth

CYAT

The purpose of the Cloncurry Youth Attainment and Transition (CYAT) Network is to increase the number of youth in Cloncurry Shire who complete year 12 or equivalent.

The Group aims to identify current and future skills needs through engaging with business and industry to develop strategies to leverage off existing services to support disengaged and at risk youth and to increase the regions attainment and transition levels.

Driven by local stakeholders the intent of the network is to become a 'one-stop-shop' for stakeholders contributing to youth education & attainment outcomes in Cloncurry Shire.

The CYAT network will harness existing resources and leverage off member organisations to add value to existing efforts and develop strategies to identify and action gaps areas. The CYAT meet on the last Wednesday of every month to discuss potential and ongoing projects.
