The Cloncurry Community Precinct opened in August 2012 and has created an exciting, state-of-the-art central service area for the community. The Cloncurry Community Precinct was a major infrastructure project for the Cloncurry Shire Council and was a community-orientated project that caters for the needs of the local community. The essence of this building was recognised by the Queensland Excellence in Construction Awards 2013 as a Regional Winner and State Winner in the Sporting and Community Service Facilities ($5 million - $20 million) category.
The Precinct incorporates function rooms (Kuridala, Mary Kathleen, Dobbyn and Selwyn), a kitchen and bar facilities, amenities and an open space courtyard.
