Recreation Grounds
The Cloncurry Recreation Grounds hosts a large array of Cloncurry sporting organisations throughout the year, utilising the facility to its fullest. The Recreation Grounds is home to Cloncurry’s largest event, the Cloncurry and District Show.
The facility encompasses; skate park, netball courts, tennis courts, soccer field, football oval, three toilet and shower blocks, canteen and bar facilities, Joe Bakhash building (including view box), holding pens, caretakers residence, PCYC activity hall, PCYC gym and John Flynn Place.
The grounds can be accessed via on King Street (pedestrian) and Margaret Street (vehicle). Please note, entry points may differ during events at the grounds. See the Cloncurry Event Calendar for more details or contact Council on 07 4742 4100 or council@cloncurry.qld.gov.au.
